Tank Update with Pictures

I noticed yesterday that the freshwater clam has come up out of the substrate and is now oriented with its hinge facing straight down. I have also noticed that whenever something makes contact with the clam that an air bubble or two seem to escape. I called LiveAquaria.com and at their recommendation, I opened the clam - finding the clam deceased. I removed the clam and will perform another partial water change tomorrow. I also removed some more of the temple - narrow leaf - at least what I could find was decomposing.

If you compare this image to the one from just 6 days ago, you can see how much of a difference the two snails have made. They have not just dented the algae population, they have decimated it on certain leaves!

I was also able to capture a pretty decent picture of my golden lyretail panchax killifish...

Also notice the two japanese trapdoor snails in the image, one on the leaf to the left of the killifish and the other just barely in the image, on the wreck to the right of the killifish.
