pH Readings

Tested the water this afternoon - before doing a small water change. The existing water tested as follows:

Pre-Water Change Sample

Test	Results
GH (general hardness)	7 drops = 7*20 = 140 ppm = 7.84 dH
KH (carbonate hardness)	10 drops = 10*10 = 100 ppm = 5.60 dCH
pH (high test)	7.8 pH

Again, the pH reading is sort of high - which is why I'm doing this partial water change.

I tested the replacement water before I added it to the tank. It tested as follows:

GH (general hardness)	7 drops = 7*20 = 140 ppm = 7.84 dH
KH (carbonate hardness)	8 drops = 8*10 = 80 ppm = 4.48 dCH
pH (low test)	7.0 pH

I will test the tank water for pH in the early morning to see what if it will change for the better.
