I took a sample of aquarium water and tested the pH. This pH reading should represent the low of pH as it represents a night without any oxygen production in the tank. The reading was 7.6-7.8. I then tested the replacement water that I prepared last night. I received a pH reading of < 6.0. This water is definitely not ready for the tank. It looks like I'll need to get some sort of airstone and peripheral equipment to raise prepped water pH back to neutral...
But I've got work to do and to go to...
