It's not that I dislike the game, in particular, or even the NFL. It's that I can't stand the nervousness that overcomes me when Auburn plays. I really wish I didn't care so much, and I honestly don't know why I care so much. Maybe it's just a side effect or something that comes with being born and growing up in the state of Alabama. About the only way I can watch an Auburn football game these days is by watching the replay of a game that they already won. Is that bad or what?
Today was just a perfect example. A team that Auburn should beat easily and they have to rally late to win. It's games like today's that irk me to no end. At least it was a win. Auburn survives to another weeked. My concern is that if Auburn plays like today again, and the games against Georgia and Alabama are going to be laughers for Georgia and Alabama... Oh well...
